The Golf Show, an initiative set up to provide a specific answer to a need expressed by golf-related businesses, starts in Ferrara last November, within the suggestive framework of the Fair.
The support of national and local authorities and the success met in 1998 encouraged us to proceed along this way and propose a richer and more interesting show, with a wider range of different aspects, related to exihibitions, congresses, promotions, trade opportunities, show and sport practice.
This makes us think and hope that the European Golf Show and the Golf International Tourism Exchange will become a veritable, regular centre offering infomations, promotion and trade opportunities to the various components of the golf world, as well as one more efficient city marketing tool for the magnificent town of Ferrara which will host the event.

It is with real pleasure that we welcome the second European Golf Show and Golf International Tourism Exchange which is due to be held in Ferrara from 4th to 7th November 1999.
The effort made by Gold Event, through the institutional and commercial support of Ferrara Fiere, will certainly improve the overall quality of this innovative event.
A town which is closer and closer to the values of "well-being", the involvement of trade associations and authorities are good grounds for success.
The fair will do its best to make Ferrara the capital of golf. The utmost attention will be paid yo younger visitors in order to promote a new concept of living: Free, environment-friendly, clean.
Golf is all this. We wish to thank all those who will trust us and hope they will make the most of this Show.
